Make better decisions by practicing embodiment

woman taking a deep breath

It's so easy to make decisions only using our brains; logical, rational, reasoned, calculated. Check, check, check.

Have you ever made a decision this way and while it looks like the right decision and checks all of those boxes, you later realize it's not what you really wanted, or even worse, you don't know what you really want?

The source of all truth and all power is found through our bodies.

You can make decisions with your bodies, and you can balance the decisions you make between your body and your brain for truly whole decision making.

This is how you can ensure decisions you make are fully aligned with what you really want - and even better, the path the universe has in store for you.

How do you make embodied decisions? You get out of your head and into your body.

My favorite ways to do this are:

  • Breathwork - deepening your breath into new spaces to release and relax your nervous system which can easily activate around decision making. Letting your breath guide you through your body to release space holding tension and holding answers.

  • Finding space in your body - envisioning different decisions you might make and finding the space in your body where you hold the truth around those decisions and letting it lead you to the answer.

  • Yin / Restorative Yoga - deep holding poses where you have time to focus on space inside of your body and using specific poses to release emotions clouding decisions.

When you start making decisions this way, you will find that your path is likely more easily found; doors open, stars align, and you are at ease. You will feel the decision in your heart and know that it is the right decision.
